Porcus ApS, a Danish specialized pig veterinarian, has divested a majority stake of the company to Standard Investment, a Dutch private equity firm.

The 7 partners of Porcus including the management team, CEO Kristian Viekilde and COO Lars Rasmussen, will continue as shareholders in the new collaboration with Standard Investment.

Porcus has had a strong growth trajectory the past decade built on both organic growth and through multiple acquisitions. In collaboration, Porcus and Standard Investment will further accelerate the growth journey both local and international as part of the new partnership. Standard Investment has a proven track record of adapting companies to international markets and strengthening global reach.
